Short history: Founded on November 13, 1951, by a group of farmers led by Elio Casanova Pozza, Copelec was created to bring electricity to rural areas that were excluded from national electrification efforts. Starting with 113 kilometers of rural power lines, the cooperative has grown into a multi-sector holding, maintaining its commitment to community development and sustainable growth.
