CETIC

What we do: CETIC is a Belgian applied research center specializing in Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). We bridge the gap between academic research and industry by driving innovation through applied research and technology transfer. Our core expertise includes software engineering, service-oriented technologies, embedded systems, cloud computing, software quality, security, model-driven engineering, data science, and algorithmic optimization. We support businesses, especially SMEs in Wallonia, by offering collaborative R&D, technical advice, IT project management, quality improvement, design and prototyping, and certification process support.

Where we are located: Our headquarters are in Charleroi, Belgium, at Av. Jean Mermoz 28, 6041 Charleroi. We primarily serve the Walloon region but engage in regional and European projects.

Short history: Founded in 2001, CETIC has established itself as a Centre of Excellence in ICT. Over the years, we have expanded our expertise and contributed significantly to regional economic development by transferring ICT skills and expertise to industry.
