Short history: FN Browning Group’s origins date back to the 19th century, notably through the collaboration between John Moses Browning and FN Herstal starting in 1897. The Group has a rich heritage of innovation in firearms, including the development of the Browning Hi-Power pistol and other pioneering small arms. In 2024, the company rebranded from Groupe Herstal to FN Browning Group to emphasize its historic brands and legacy, celebrating its 135th anniversary.
