Where we are located: Our headquarters are in Charleroi, in the Walloon Region of Belgium, situated in the former postal sorting building near Charleroi train station, serving as a central hub for technological and digital innovation.
Short history: A6K has evolved into a key innovation center in Wallonia, with a recent expansion project underway to quadruple its space and increase its annual learner capacity from 1,000 to 10,000 by the end of 2026. This development is supported by the Recovery and Resilience Plan and aims to strengthen Charleroi’s role as a European center for reindustrialization and technological innovation.
Organization & culture: A6K hosts a diverse community of industrial companies, start-ups, research centers, and training programs, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture. The hub provides tailored office spaces, advanced equipment such as a 5G lab and driving simulator, and supports incubation and acceleration programs to turn ideas into concrete projects.
Recent developments: In October 2024, construction began on the new 20,000 m² building for E6K, A6K’s educational partner, which will become the largest technology and digital training center in Wallonia. This expansion will significantly increase training capacity and enhance the ecosystem’s ability to support technological innovation and talent development.
