The organization offers workshops, projects, and support focused on biodiversity, climate action, and sustainable development goals, emphasizing education and community collaboration. It targets children and young people, reaching over 300,000 annually, and also partners with businesses and public institutions to foster social responsibility.

Short history: Founded in 1997, GoodPlanet Belgium has grown into a key player in sustainability education and activism. It is part of an international network established by Yann Arthus-Bertrand, the renowned French photographer and environmentalist. Over the years, it has developed numerous projects and educational programs that have reached hundreds of thousands of people.

Organization & culture: The organization employs around 96 experts and benefits from the support of many volunteers. Its culture is inclusive, creative, and dedicated to teamwork and innovation. Recent developments: In 2023, GoodPlanet Belgium opened a second child-friendly forest in Brussels, designed as a natural space where children can explore, play, and learn about biodiversity in an engaging way. This initiative exemplifies their commitment to hands-on environmental education.
