What we do: Oxfam-Magasins du monde is a movement of 2,500 active volunteers and 1,500 student members engaged in local teams and schools. Where we are located: The headquarters is located at Rue Provinciale 285, 1301 Wavre, Belgium. The organization operates a network of around 65 fair trade and solidarity shops across the Wallonia-Brussels Federation.

Short history: Oxfam-Magasins du monde is part of Oxfam in Belgium, which itself is a member of the international Oxfam confederation. The organization was founded in 1976 and has since developed a unique structure combining the strength of a committed NGO with the dynamics of a volunteer movement animating a real commercial alternative.
