Short history: Founded in 2007 as a joint venture between SES TechCom and QinetiQ Space, RSS has built a strong reputation as a trusted partner for ESA and European governments. Since its inception, RSS has been responsible for the maintenance and operations of the Redu Space Centre, playing a key role in European space initiatives. Over the years, RSS has successfully conducted more than 50 in-orbit test campaigns and has been involved in landmark projects such as the GOVSATCOM Mission Operations Centre and the Galileo constellation in-orbit tests[2].
