3D-Side is a Belgian medtech and software company, originally spun out of UCLouvain. For over a decade, we have specialized in providing AI-powered 3D preoperative planning and patient-specific medical devices. Our expertise lies in developing first-class solutions for cranioplasty and complex bone tumor surgery, leveraging advanced imaging, AI-based segmentation, and 3D printing to support highly personalized surgical care.
Building on our in-house know-how, 3D-Side created Customize, a medically cleared web platform. This platform connects surgeons, patients, and medical device companies, streamlining the entire workflow from medical images to 3D-printed instruments and implants. Through Customize, we offer comprehensive surgical planning tools, efficient communication modules, and quality-controlled manufacturing management for patient-specific medical devices, including our own custom cranial implants and patient-specific surgical guides.
