CHU Tivoli

What we do: CHU Tivoli is a university hospital integrated within the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) network. Located in La Louvière, it concentrates all its hospital activities on a single site, offering 518 approved acute care beds. The hospital covers the majority of medical specialties and provides comprehensive, continuous care to patients. CHU Tivoli also operates a network of extrahospital services, including four polyclinics in Binche, Chapelle-Lez-Herlaimont, Houdeng-Goegnies, and Manage, as well as an outpatient dialysis service in Soignies and expanding blood sampling centers beyond the Centre region.

Where we are located: The main hospital site is at Avenue Max Buset 34, 7100 La Louvière, in the Walloon Region of Belgium. The hospital’s extrahospital network extends to Binche, Chapelle-Lez-Herlaimont, Houdeng-Goegnies, Manage, and Soignies, ensuring accessible care across the region.

Organization & culture: CHU Tivoli employs nearly 1,700 professionals and works with around 250 independent physicians, making it one of the largest employers in the region.
