What we do: Nekto is a social economy company specializing in tailored manufacturing and service solutions. Its core activities include custom wood furniture and object fabrication, industrial pallet production, packaging and conditioning, reusable plastic cup washing and rental, subcontracting on client sites, green space maintenance, building painting, and ironing services via social vouchers. Where we are located: Nekto operates from two main sites in Belgium: its headquarters at Chemin du Clypot 3, 7063 Neufvilles (Soignies), and a secondary site in Braine-le-Comte, both located in the Walloon Region.
Short history: Founded in 1963 as Atelier Protégé Reine Fabiola to provide employment for people with disabilities, Nekto evolved through decades expanding its activities from mechanical and electrical work to diverse manufacturing and service sectors. In 2008, it rebranded as Nekto to reflect its dynamic evolution and to distinguish itself from other entities. It is recognized as the first adapted work enterprise (ETA) registered with the Walloon Agency for Quality of Life (AViQ).
