What we do: Icarus is a leading single source supplier of complete piping packages and a manufacturer of specialty valves, including Dual plate check valves, Double block and bleed valves, and Ball valves. We serve critical industry segments primarily in the energy sector, including chemical, petrochemical, and engineering companies. Our products are designed for onshore, offshore, and subsea applications, handling extreme conditions such as corrosive environments, high pressure, and temperature variations. We provide materials in stainless steel, duplex, super duplex, alloy steel, carbon steel, high strength carbon steel, nickel alloys, and titanium, tailored to client needs.

Where we are located: Our headquarters are located at Parc Industriel des Hauts-Sarts, Zone 3, Rue des Alouettes 100-101, 4040 Herstal, Liège, Belgium.

Short history: Founded in 1985, Icarus began as a trader in stainless steel, nickel alloys, and titanium piping materials. Over time, we expanded by acquiring a valve manufacturing company and became known for short lead-time valve production. We merged with Vector International and later operated as separate entities again. In 2013, we joined forces with SACCAP and COYARD to strengthen our market position. With over 35 employees, we have built a reputation for engineering excellence and project management in complex piping projects worldwide.

Organization & culture: Icarus employs around 35 full-time staff and values flexibility, quality, and strong client relationships. Our culture emphasizes professional management of large-scale projects, innovation in tailor-made products, and responsiveness to emergency repairs and shutdowns. We maintain close collaboration with steel mills to optimize processes and ensure efficient project execution.
