http://www.ehp.spaceAbout us
What we do: EHP (Euro Heat Pipes) is a Belgian company specializing in innovative thermal and deployable systems for the space industry. We develop, produce, and qualify two-phase heat transfer systems such as heat pipes and loop heat pipes, as well as deployable mechanisms including radiators and pointing systems. Our solutions enhance spacecraft thermal management by enabling efficient heat dissipation, compact packaging, and reliable operation under extreme conditions. Beyond space, our technology is expanding into aeronautical, defense, and terrestrial markets.
Where we are located: Our headquarters are located at Rue de la Science 9, 1400 Nivelles, in the Walloon Region of Belgium. We operate from a 10,000 m² facility equipped with clean rooms, vacuum chambers, and testing equipment to support design, manufacturing, and qualification activities.
Short history: Founded in 2001 as a spin-off from SABCA and the Microgravity Research Center of the Université Libre de Bruxelles, EHP has built on over 40 years of space heritage. In 2017, EHP became a subsidiary of Airbus Defence & Space. We hold EN 9100 certification renewed in 2019 and have delivered over 10,000 flight products with more than 180 million cumulative spaceflight hours without in-orbit failure.
Organization & culture: EHP employs around 100 skilled professionals dedicated to delivering high-quality, reliable thermal solutions. Our culture emphasizes innovation, quality, and customer partnership, serving major clients such as Airbus, ESA, Thales Alenia Space, CNES, and others worldwide.
