Overview INTERNATIONAL ANTIMONY ASSOCIATION
https://www.antimony.comAbout us
The International Antimony Association (i2a) is the global representative body for the antimony industry, founded in 2008 to inspire product stewardship along the entire antimony value chain. Our mission is to ensure the responsible production, use, and trade of antimony and its compounds worldwide.
We accomplish this by generating and sharing crucial information concerning the environmental, health, and safety aspects, as well as the societal benefits of antimony substances. A key focus is supporting regulatory and scientific initiatives, particularly framing product stewardship through regulations like the European REACH (Regulation (EC) n° 1907/2006). This work forms a vital reference database for numerous regulatory programs globally.
Through a common evidence base, i2a actively promotes harmonized risk management and the continued safe use of antimony and antimony substances across the value chain and geographical borders, serving the interests of producers, users, and other stakeholders.
