What we do: The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Wallonie Picarde (CCI Wallonie Picarde) is a regional institution dedicated to supporting the economic development of Wallonie Picarde, a dynamic area in southern Belgium. Our core mission is to promote entrepreneurship, encourage innovation, and facilitate business exchanges among local companies. We serve a diverse network of over 1,100 businesses, offering a wide range of services including networking events, professional training, information sessions, business visibility, and venue rentals. Our expertise spans multiple sectors, with a particular focus on supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and fostering a collaborative business environment. We act as a bridge between companies, public authorities, and international partners, helping our members navigate the challenges of a rapidly changing economic landscape.
Where we are located: Our headquarters is located at Rue du Follet 10, 7540 Tournai, Belgium. This central location allows us to serve the entire Wallonie Picarde region effectively, connecting businesses across municipalities and supporting regional economic growth.
Short history: CCI Wallonie Picarde was established in 2000 through the merger of the Chambers of Commerce of Mouscron and Tournai, uniting two historic institutions with deep roots in the local business community. Since its creation, the Chamber has played a pivotal role in the economic life of the region, supporting entrepreneurs at every stage—from business creation to succession planning. Over the years, we have built a reputation for reliability, innovation, and commitment to the prosperity of Wallonie Picarde.
Organization & culture: Our team consists of approximately 11 dedicated professionals, each bringing specialized skills to address the varied needs of our members. We pride ourselves on a culture of collaboration, integrity, and excellence, where every team member and business partner is valued and heard. As a member of the Federation of Belgian Chambers of Commerce and various international organizations, we are actively involved in representing the interests of Wallonie Picarde’s businesses at both regional and European levels.
