Short history: Founded in 1982 as ISFI SA by Anne-Marie Stevens and Christian Vanvaek in Braine-l’Alleud, the company grew from a local family business into Belgium’s largest manufacturer of herbs and spices, exporting worldwide. In 2014, it was acquired by a management team experienced in FMCG and food sectors. In 2015, ISFI acquired the Piet Huysentruyt brand, expanding its seasoning and bouillon range. In February 2023, the company rebranded as The Spice Factory to better reflect its identity and international growth.
