Short history: Founded in 1993, Pairi Daiza has grown into a 75-hectare park recognized multiple times as the Best Zoo in Europe and awarded three stars in the Michelin Green Guide. It evolved from a former Cistercian abbey site into a multi-day destination with overnight accommodations, actively participating in about thirty scientific programs for endangered species conservation.
