Short history: Founded in 2016 by Edouard Moens de Hase, Matthias Hick, and the start-up studio MAKE.IT GROUP, Aerosint developed the Selective Powder Deposition technology to revolutionize multi-material additive manufacturing. In 2021, the company was acquired by Desktop Metal Inc., a leader in 3D printing systems, and in October 2023, it was sold to Schaeffler Special Machinery, becoming Schaeffler Aerosint SA and integrated as an additional location for Schaeffler Special Machinery.
