What we do: UCM is the leading interprofessional employers’ organization for the French-speaking part of Belgium, dedicated to supporting self-employed professionals and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) throughout their professional journey. Our core services include business creation assistance, administrative procedures, HR management, legal support, social secretariat, and social insurance fund management. We also act as a collective defense movement, representing and promoting the interests of entrepreneurs and business owners in political and social dialogues. UCM is the only French-speaking business services group in Wallonia and Brussels, offering personalized guidance, a business network, debt collection services, and thematic workshops to help our members succeed. Our specialties include enterprise creation, development, and transfer offices, social insurance funds, a movement for the defense and promotion of the self-employed, social secretariat, enterprise counters, and family allowance funds.

Where we are located: UCM’s headquarters is located at Chaussée de Marche 637, 5100 Wierde, Namur, Belgium. We serve entrepreneurs and businesses across Wallonia and Brussels, with a strong local presence to support our members wherever they are based.

Short history: Founded in 1920, UCM has a long-standing tradition of supporting independent professionals and SMEs in Belgium. Over the decades, we have grown into a trusted partner for more than 110,000 self-employed individuals and 37,000 companies, helping them navigate the complexities of entrepreneurship with tailored advice and practical tools.
