What we do: vzw 'de Rand' is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and promoting Dutch-language culture, youth, sports, and social cohesion in the 19 municipalities of the Flemish periphery around Brussels, known as the 'Vlaamse Rand'. Where we are located: Our headquarters are located at Kaasmarkt 75, 1780 Wemmel, Belgium. This central location allows us to serve all 19 municipalities of the Vlaamse Rand effectively.

Short history: vzw 'de Rand' was established in 1996 by the Flemish Government to strengthen the Dutch-speaking character of the municipalities surrounding Brussels[1].
