What we do: The China Belgium Technology Center (CBTC) is a pioneering business and technology park that serves as a dynamic two-way gateway fostering innovation and cooperation between Chinese and European high-tech companies. It focuses on key sectors such as life sciences, new energies, sustainability, ICT, and Industry 4.0 (smart manufacturing). CBTC supports Chinese companies entering the European market and European companies expanding into China by providing tailored landing services including company creation, policy analysis, entry strategy development, translation, consulting, and intellectual property protection. The center offers a comprehensive business complex with offices, co-working spaces, labs, conference and exhibition areas, proximity stores, a business hotel, and parking.

Where we are located: CBTC is headquartered at Fond des Més 5/18, 1348 Ottignies-Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium, situated within the Louvain-la-Neuve Science Park near top universities and research centers, providing excellent logistics and access to 65% of the European market within hours.

Short history: Established as China’s largest investment project in Belgium, CBTC is the first Chinese business and technology park created outside China. It was founded to implement the Belt and Road Initiative by facilitating cooperation and innovation between Chinese and European companies, becoming a strategic platform for market entry and industrial partnerships.
