Our partner is a leading IT service provider supporting corporate organizations across Belgium.

To strengthen their team, they are looking for a Microsoft Security Solution Engineer with strong expertise in Microsoft Purview and/or the Microsoft Defender security stack.

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will deliver design, architecture, and consultancy projects for enterprise clients. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will help organizations enhance their security maturity and make the most of the Microsoft security suite.

Key responsibilities include:

Conducting assessments, workshops, and technical discovery sessions

Designing high-level and low-level architectures

Implementing and optimizing Purview and/or Defender solutions

Supporting pre-sales alongside the commercial team

Advising on governance, compliance, data protection, and best practices

Acting as a subject-matter expert for enterprise stakeholders

Your Profile

You combine strong technical knowledge with clear communication and consultancy skills. Key technical expertise includes:

Microsoft Purview:

Information Protection (sensitivity labels, auto-labeling, DLP policies)

Data Loss Prevention (endpoint & cloud DLP, insider risk controls)

Information Governance & Records Management

eDiscovery (Standard/Premium)

Compliance Manager and Insider Risk Management

End-to-end data protection strategies

Microsoft Defender:

Defender for Endpoint (onboarding, EDR, ASR rules, threat hunting)

Defender for Office 365 (phishing, anti-malware, Safe Links/Attachments)

Defender for Identity, Cloud Apps, and Cloud workloads

Designing integrated detection & response architectures

General Requirements:

Translate business needs into technical security solutions

Experience with consulting, workshops, and client engagement

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Fluent in Dutch (English required, French a plus)

Based in Belgium and willing to visit clients as needed

What We Offer

Monthly salary: €3,800 – €4,500 depending on experience

Classic extralegal package, including: company car & fuel/charging card, meal vouchers, group & hospitalization insurance, net allowances, laptop, phone & subscription, training budget + Microsoft certifications
