As a Senior Design Engineer at AILOS, you will turn concepts into industrial-grade actuation systems. You’ll work from early ideation through 3D design, prototyping, and production optimization. Your focus will be on designing backdrivable, efficient, and robust transmission architectures for humanoids, cobots, and wearable robotics.

Profile
 

• Industrial or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering
• Substantial (>5 years) industry experience
• Experience in mechanical design or transmission components is a plus
• Strong practical mindset — you enjoy building and validating your own designs
• Independent, structured, and eager to grow in a dynamic environment

Professional Skills
 

• 3D CAD design (SolidWorks or similar) from concept to detailed drawings
• Knowledge of mechanical components: gears, bearings, housings, and tolerancing (GD&T)
• Basic understanding of material selection and manufacturing methods (CNC, EDM, 3D printing)
• Collaboration with suppliers and prototype workshops
