Gambit is looking for a talented, dynamic, and technically proficient Sales Engineer to join its growing sales team. In this role, you will be a key player in driving commercial success by providing top-level technical expertise during the sales process. Your primary focus will be on understanding clients’ businesses and requirements and ensuring successful understanding and adoption of our value proposition by the client throughout the full acquisition journey.
Reporting directly to our Chief Commercial Officer, you are a key driver in the sales team showing autonomy, responsibility, and passion for engagement with prospects and customers.

Responsibilities:
- Technical presentation: Deliver compelling presentations to potential clients and the ecosystem, showcasing the functional and technical aspects and benefits of our solutions.
- Client engagement: Collaborate with the sales team to understand client needs, offering guidance and ensuring alignment between our solutions and client requirements.
- Solution demonstration: Conduct solution demonstrations, illustrating the functionality and value proposition of our financial technology offerings.
- Customized Solutions: Work closely with clients to tailor our solutions to their specific needs, addressing any technical concerns or customization requirements.
- Technical expertise: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, product enhancements, and competitor offerings to provide informed insights during client interactions.
- Post-Sales Support: Provide ongoing technical support post-sales, ensuring a smooth transition from the sales process to implementation.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including demo scripts, solution fact sheets, product guides, and FAQs, to assist clients and internal teams.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including innovation, product development, and support, to communicate client feedback and contribute to product improvements.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Finance, Engineering), ideally mixing finance and technology.
- Strong interest in understanding financial products, services, and market trends.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to convey effectively complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
- Curious, passionate about client engagement, convincing, resilient, and works effectively under pressure (from time to time).
- Mastering English and fluency in French
- Proven experience of at least 2 years or more as a Sales Engineer in the financial or fintech industry.
