At Centre tricontinental (CETRI), we are dedicated to fostering a deeper understanding of North-South relations and the complexities of globalization as they impact Africa, Asia, and Latin America. Founded in 1976 in Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium, our mission is to amplify the voices from the Global South and engage in critical reflections on development policies during pivotal moments of global reconfiguration.

Our work is rooted in values of social justice, inclusivity, and respect for cultural and ecological rights. We strive to empower social and political actors who advocate for these rights, ensuring their perspectives are recognized in global discourse. Through our four core activities—study, publication, capacity-building, and consultancy—we aim to create impactful knowledge that drives positive change.

With a diverse team of 47 dedicated professionals, CETRI nurtures a collaborative culture that values innovation and critical thinking.
