http://www.valdugeer.beAbout us
What we do: Le Val du Geer is an Adapted Work Enterprise (ETA) providing meaningful employment opportunities for people with disabilities. We combine social integration with high-quality economic activity, offering a wide range of services including woodwork (wooden crates, pallets, garden furniture), metal fabrication (sheet bending, welding, cutting), pharmaceutical and hospital packaging (clean rooms, surgical kits, unit-dose medication), textile manufacturing (upholstery fabrics, garment production), logistics, screen printing, and on-site packaging (maritime packaging and container securing). Our clients include local, national, and cross-border businesses across various sectors.
Where we are located: Our headquarters is located at Rue de la Grotte 8, 4690 Bassenge, Belgium. We operate four sites: two in Bassenge (Rue de la Grotte and Rue Nouwen), one in Boirs, and one in Ans.
Short history: Founded in 1964, Le Val du Geer has evolved from its origins in the abbey buildings of Bassenge into a professional, competitive, and sustainable enterprise. Over the years, we have expanded our activities and now employ around 250 workers, with more than 80% recognized by AVIQ for adapted work. We are certified ISO 9001 and are a founding member of the RESSOURCES network, as well as a member of AGORIA, FEDUSTRIA, and the Liège Verviers Chamber of Commerce.
Organization & culture: Le Val du Geer is an ASBL (non-profit association) with a strong commitment to social inclusion. Our teams are led by experienced professionals, and we foster a supportive, inclusive, and professional work environment. We ensure our employees have a secure job status, guaranteed salary, and adapted working conditions, promoting both personal and professional development.
