Where we are located: Our headquarters are at Mont Saint-Martin 9-11, 4000 Liège, Belgium. Both hotels are situated in the vibrant city center, close to major cultural and commercial landmarks, including the Opéra Royal de Wallonie, the TGV train station, and the city’s historic district.
Short history: The Van der Valk group was founded in 1929 in the Netherlands and has grown into one of Europe’s largest family-run hotel chains. The Sélys building, classified as exceptional heritage in Wallonia, was acquired by Van der Valk in 2019, marking a new chapter in its storied past. The group now manages three hotels in the Liège-Verviers region, combining tradition with modern luxury.
