Overview MMI asbl
http://www.asbl-mmi.beAbout us
What we do: MMI asbl is a Belgian non-profit organization that operates a network of living environments and support services across Hainaut, Walloon Brabant, and Brussels. Our core mission is to help individuals—especially seniors, people with disabilities, and families with young children—achieve greater autonomy by offering a wide range of tailored services. These include residential care homes, service residences for seniors, supervised housing for adults with physical disabilities, home care (housekeeping, family support, meal delivery, tele-alarm), and childcare services such as nurseries and daycare. Our approach is holistic, adapting our offerings to the evolving needs of our beneficiaries, whether they seek independence, assisted living, or specialized care[1][3].
Where we are located: Our headquarters is located at Grand Chemin 61, 7063 Neufvilles, in the Walloon Region of Belgium. We are present through six geographical hubs, providing local access to our services in Hainaut, Walloon Brabant, and Brussels, ensuring proximity and personalized support for our clients across these regions[1][2].
Short history: Founded in 1980, MMI asbl has built over 40 years of experience and expertise in social care and support services. The organization has grown from a single initiative into a regional network, continuously expanding its range of services to meet the changing needs of the community. Milestones include the development of specialized residences, the integration of home care programs, and the establishment of childcare facilities, reflecting a commitment to lifelong support and community integration[1][5].
Organization & culture: MMI asbl employs over 1,000 staff members and supports more than 1,700 beneficiaries annually. Our teams are multidisciplinary, including caregivers, social workers, administrative staff, and specialists in disability and elderly care. The organizational culture is rooted in values of mutual aid, respect, well-being, innovation, and excellence. These principles guide daily operations and ensure a supportive, professional environment for both employees and those we serve[1][5].
