Overview AG REAL ESTATE
https://www.agrealestate.eu/About us
What we do: AG Real Estate is the real estate subsidiary of AG Insurance and the real estate consultant for Ageas, managing a diversified portfolio of over €6 billion that includes office buildings, shopping malls, logistics properties, residential assets, and shares in both listed and unlisted real estate investment funds. As an integrated operator, we are active in investment, development, public-private partnerships, and real estate financing, with a strong presence in Belgium, France, Luxembourg, and select European markets such as Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, and Poland. Our services cover the entire real estate lifecycle—from development and asset management to property management and sophisticated financing solutions. We are also the parent company of Interparking, a major European car parking operator, and hold significant stakes in real estate investment trusts like Befimmo and Ascencio. Our commitment to sustainability, long-term value creation, and high environmental standards is central to our operations.
Where we are located: Our headquarters is located at Avenue des Arts 58, 1000 Brussels, Belgium. This central location underscores our role as the largest real estate group in Belgium and a key player in the European real estate market.
Short history: AG Real Estate, formerly known as Fortis Real Estate, has a long-standing presence in the European real estate sector. The company has completed developments of more than 2 million m² of office, residential, and retail space across Europe, including several iconic high-rise buildings in Brussels’ Northern Quarter. Since 2008, AG Real Estate has played a leading role in major public-private partnerships, such as the ‘Schools of Tomorrow’ initiative in Flanders, which involved the design, construction, and financing of 182 school infrastructure projects. Our track record reflects a steadfast dedication to responsible investing and development, positioning us as an industry leader.
Organization & culture: AG Real Estate employs approximately 200–500 professionals at its core, with around 2,600 employees group-wide including subsidiaries. Our culture is built on integrity, collaboration, innovation, and a commitment to professional excellence. We foster a dynamic, inclusive, and expert-driven work environment where teamwork and open communication are valued. We believe in nurturing long-lasting relationships with our stakeholders and creating opportunities for professional growth and development for all team members.
