Short history: Frende Forsikring is fully Norwegian-owned, established as a cooperative owned by 18 savings banks and three former fire insurance companies under Varig. The company has been recognized repeatedly as best in test for insurance, claims handling, customer service, and satisfaction. It consists of Frende Skadeforsikring AS and Frende Livsforsikring AS, serving the Norwegian market with insurance since at least 2007.
